I think the point of writing up the story about the ukrainian pilots what made their own bootleg a10 sim was just as much, or more valuable an exercise, in identifying with the west as it was describing a practical reality.

Seriously, though, the f35 doesn't work.  That doesn't mean it can't or won't and these are always the kinks we work out for any "mature" weapon system.  The reason the nuts bring this shit up is just bait.  They'd rather not talk about how nuts they are.  They'd rather get somebody else to say something nuts so they can make hay.  They don't give a fuck if the f35 works.  When the f35 is a mature system with kinks worked out they won't abandon their nut principles for having been proven wrong.  They'll just point to how the f35 replacement also has kinks to work out.  Bel already laid that ground.  It's like clockwork.

Because they're nuts.....  Nut today, nut tomorrow, nut forever, because that's all they have.  In mere reality?  Give ukrainian pilots a10s.  It can't hurt.  It literally can't hurt.
