   Emmanuel Todd is a 72 year old man from Sorbone University + Cambridge University. He already admits that he has published his latest book in Japan because he has been ostracized by several writers in “Le Figaro” or in “Le Monde”. I didn’t listen to the whole video. But he might be a Front National type of personality. I think he is mixing some real facts (Like the strength of the US economy being partly based on the hegemony of the US dollar) with some other fictional facts (Like Russia + China willing to free the world from the hegemony of the US dollar).

   And the interviewer is not asking any question. They seem to be agreeing on some “facts”. I regularly watch the debates in France 24. If there is just one person who is being interviewed, that person is always being challenged by the interviewer so he is not like a Stewen Hawking who is always talking and to whom you always have to listen no matter what he says. And in other instances, you will have 4 persons + the interviewer who don’t always agree on everything and ideas are being exchanged between the participants so that the viewer can make his own conclusions. These are the basics of modern journalism. And I repeat: Todd is telling us himself that he is a man who has been “ostracized”. This means that he has extreme ideas that are not liked by the majority. That puts him somewhere near Marine Lepen or Georgia Meloni (in my mind of course )

There is an evil conspiracy against him!
