I guess you not having any religious belief, they feel the need to try and usher you back into the fold.
Besides, Christmas is actually a pagan thing, Christians stole it. The event is called 'Yule'. Pagan event.

Celebrating Christmas or Yule, doesn't have to involve religion in any way. You don't need belief in god to celebrate the event. Sadly not everyone agrees. Your parents sound intolerant. Sorry to hear of the sticky situation you're in.
