I don't have to try to justify some deep meaning for cursing a fig tree out of season, I just toss it out with the rest of the chaff.
But what does that mean for ultimate meaning, justice and hope? Or as an atheist, those are non-existent or purely subjective. Meaning found in what you deem meaningul, justice may not be delivered if you are wronged and nothing to put hope in?
I assume you mean ultimate meaning, ultimate justice, and ultimate hope; but I don't know what you mean by those terms. Seems like you cold slap 'ultimate' on just about any idea to make it sound profound.
Meaning is inherently subjective, nothing has any inherent meaning, only meaning to someone. A particular rock might hold some meaning for me, but if it doesn't, it's just a rock.
Justice is when moral agents get what they deserve, no more or less. It's easily observable that justice doesn't happen except by accident unless we make it happen.
Hope is expectently desiring something to happen. I'm a hopeful guy, where did you get the idea that I have nothing to put hope in? For starters, I strongly hope I'm still around to read your reply.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
