To enter the Beatific Vision, the first and foremost thing necessary is to and accept the Will of God: God willed that I should die in infancy, Glory be to God. God willed that I should live as an adult, have the chance for Baptism, further merit and increased glory in Heaven - why would you not desire that - Glory be to God. That's how those desiring that Perfect Happiness should think and speak, and if they do, they're almost certainly going to go there.

You should know I am a Hopeful Semi-Universalist. I hold it possible, not certain but possible, that greater than 50% of the human race will ultimately be saved. Some Catholic Christian as well as Non-Catholic Christian Theologians have held this: I will explain the Scriptural and other reasons for it subsequently. It is something to be prayed and worked for, and that's what Christians do. We too could just live in money making and hedonism and be done with it, right? We don't because we love everyone and want everyone to enjoy Perfect Eternal Happiness.

The Scripture says in various places that God loves all, died for all, and really desires to save all - hence we reject Limited Atonement - but they should also do what is necessary for them to obtain that salvation. Receive Baptism, accept Christ as Savior, be contrite over past sins, etc.
