I don't see any Republican beating Trump unless he's in jail by 2024. They are lashed to the mast with him, they will sail into port or go down with the ship.
DeSantis or Christie have the best of the worst odds, but neither can win the general, Christie for being a blowhard and DeSantis for tying himself to the wrong side of culture war issues.
I do agree that it's so early that lots can happen.
