Also, the idea of a "missing link" is silly as every single fossil we find is "the missing link" as there is no singular point where you can say ah hah we have found a distinct split from an ape to a human because every fossil is an ape to another ape because humans are apes. Peltdown man was just another of a number of fossils they found and any of the others is all we would need to win the argument. The idea everything rested on Pelt Down man is silly.
