Why did Communists promote Evolution?

Another issue: if apes like these alleged Ramapithecus, Silvapethicus etc are ultimately the progenitors of the human race, why didn't our first parents - or multiple first ancestors, if you will - tell us about these things in historical records and cave paintings and so on? Rather, virtually every civilization preserves the historical memory that humanity comes from God or gods. Some believe in gods in Heaven, and that's not correct: there's only One God. But as to the events on Earth itself, they are agreed. Humanity did not come from Apes. If we had, our first ancestors would have painted these things on caves and so on.
