Well, if you want to talk about the hitjob then you don't need Klipperstein since the hitjob was done by Grusch to himself when he did not provide any evidence for his claims, nor named any witnesses. And on top of that, we know that he is with the crew of the Skinwalker Ranch (a "haunted" ranch in Utah where "crazy" Pentagon officials chase ghosts and goblins) who were probably the source of his claims.
But his claims were ridiculous even before that because the whole idea of the US government hiding the alien presence on Earth is already ridiculous since, if this was happening, the US government does not have the global power to hide alien visitations across the globe.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
