That said, I did say that god is nothing more than a psychological need, or a psychological predisposition as someone else put it. If only there was a way to overcome it, and there most likely isn't.
Still, it seems more people have started leaving religion in recent years, and while I still think maybe a small number of people will still practice religion by the time the people leaving religion thing is done, I can see the number of people not practicing religion to vastly outweigh those who still practice it.
Agree with everything.
Can you imagine 10,000 years from now, that humans will continue to believe that a god sent his son to a specific ancient Near Eastern culture, to sacrifice himself, in order to feel better ?
