Biden is declaring a new World War; now we have 2 sides:
1-China & Russia on one end with their own economical road
2-America and its allies on the other end with their own economical road.
Traditionally World Wars begin with fewer announcements. The first one began when Germany crossed into Belgium, unannounced. The second one began when German crossed into Poland, unannounced.
actually germany crossing into poland wasn’t exactly unanticipated. The Germans made it abundantly clear to every one that’s where they will go next after absorbing the rest of Czechoslovakia. there were all sorts of announcements from both sides further pointing the way, with the Nazis making a big propaganda push alleging gross mistreatment of ethnic germans in poland and in particular danzig, and the British and French giving security guarantees to Poland, and the Soviets approach Britain and France for a anti-german alliance, rebuffed, approaching Hitler for nonaggression pact.
the surprise wasn’t germany attacked poland, but just how quickly germany were able to overwhelm poland, and the fact that ideological mutural nemisis Nazi Germans and soviet Russia managed to come to something or an understanding.
