The economic and geostrategic benefits to America of a contained Russia should be easy for even a strategic tyro to see. For one, lower grain prices will reduce inflationary pressures, making the average American paycheck go farther.
Inlfation in the US is caused by Biden's wasteful government spending. Also grain prices aren't an issue as the US is mostly self-sufficient agriculturally.
