Just the contrary. If the US doesn't help Ukraine now then it will have to help the whole of Europe when Putin attacks it after he conquers Ukraine which will be more expensive.

Putin does seem crazy not just for attacking Ukraine but also for saying that Ukraine and Europe are ruled by Satan and that Europe is trying to turn Russians into homosexuals.

None of us consent to where our tax money goes. Not how it works in the us. Do russians get to choose which oligarch they fund? Anywho, it's not that americans are against funding ukraine. That's a popular thing. It tweaks our national myth. It's that Dear Leader Trump and the Treason Caucus are against it. They don't even love russia. Wouldn't piss on it if it was on fire. They could have helped russia in myriad ways which they simply haven't. The aim is to hurt people here in the us, lol. If I were an intelligent russian sympathizer....I'd want them to stay as far away from helping russia as possible. Everything they touch comes to a slow and humiliating end.
