Inquiry regarding creationists

I don't know if there are any active members on this forum who identify as creationists, but if you are one, this question is specially for you!
Does anyone happen to know whether creationists would turn down medicine or treatments (such as for cancer) based on knowledge derived from evolutionary theory?
It would be interesting to find out what they have to say about that. I think they'd be hypocrites if they did accept such medication or treatments, and I think it would be interesting to find out of they'd change their position upon learning that evolutionary theory actually has practical applications - particularly life-saving ones.
