While I do not care what others think of me, it would be a lie to state that I do not think about others long enough to be bothered by them.

I have to wonder how often my old friends think of me, probably not all that much. I think of them a lot.

Most people do not think about others all that much, for they're too wrapped up in their own lives. It's an interesting psychological perspective to be the opposite, like us.
