Nah, I think you're overreacting. You know the context. You know the speaker. You know the intent.

If you think an administrator here is pushing what would be obviously bullshit content, take it up in your moderating thread. But her making a joke about an American political meme is not a comment about your new dog, nor is it pushing any message other than "here, let's have a laugh".

And to be clear, I'm happy you've found and rescued this pup. No doubt you both will be happier for it.
