I believe our meaning is what we want our meaning to be. There isn't any evidence that even suggests that we have a meaning as a species.
My meaning is to be a mother to my kids, and raise them to be critical thinkers who skeptically interrogate everything, especially authority. By doing this, I hope that they will grow up and have a positive impact on society, and live happy lives. Otherwise, I want to help people find refuge from judgment, which is why I am a pregnancy crisis counselor. Being kind, genuinely caring, and touching people's lives in a positive way gives me great joy, thus making my life meaningful... to me, that is.
