This thread in a nutshell: Some troll writes some incoherent nonsense that contains the word “transgender”, so some members try to discuss about transgender people and their inclusion in society. Then comes Boru and writes some nonsense giving perhaps the impression that he is aware that this whole topic is nonsense and that he may close it, but not. Then comes Belacqua, who is taking the subject of the topic into trying to prove to us that atheists accept the so-called subjective evidence and ultimately accept that god exists because the only “evidence” for god is the subjective one. Indeed, one of the first discussions that I had with a theist on this forum was him claiming that people who feel god exists should be taken seriously because people who feel they are different gender are taken seriously.

That's it in a nutshell, it's a false equivalence that equates all beliefs as equally subjective, and requiring the same burden of proof, so claiming to own a pair of shoes, has the same epistemological burden of proof as claiming to own an invisible pet dragon. Of course it's using trans people as a schill for this tired old canard in apologetics. 

Note the phrase burden of proof here is not meant to mean literally proof, as this is for mathematics and logic. It merely suggests a point at which it would be unreasonable to withhold belief.
