My daughter had a horrible experience after an emergency C-section followed by a second emergency surgery. The damn day nurse even refused to give her a glass of water...that witch had better be thankful I was a thousand miles away. There'd have been hell to pay had I been there.
We really need to advocate for ourselves and for those who can't.
Very may have been a very good reason why she was NPO.
No, she just was too sore and groggy to get it on her own. The nurse was fired after daughter spoke to her OB/GYN about the bad treatment. Woman even harassed my daughter for not breast feeding when she had been advised not to due to two rounds of anesthesia and antibiotics in under 24 hours.
