No, they don't own microwave ovens. There's a whole microwave militia out there trying to warn us that our microwave ovens are killing us. One of the most vocal voices if not the originator of this microwave ovens phobia is Dr. Magda Havas. They usually cite her as an expert.
Here's an example:
Quote:According to Mercola.com, a study conducted by Dr. Magda Havas of Trent University found that the levels of microwave frequency radiation we see in home kitchens is significant enough to affect both heart rate and heart rate variability. The study found that 2.4 GHz radiation (the frequency produced by WiFi routers and microwave ovens) emitted at levels well within federal safety guidelines can effect “immediate and dramatic changes” in both heart rate and heart rate variability.
In other words, even though laws have been put in place to try to ensure the safety of microwave ovens, damage is being done. Anyone experiencing an irregular or rapid heartbeat and/or chest pain may wish to unplug their microwave oven discontinue use.
New research also indicates that microwave radiation from kitchen microwave ovens can lead to blood sugar spikes connected with diabetes in susceptible individuals.

When it comes to wifi, it seems to me that these anti radio waves activists own it, but wear a piece of magical material around their necks to protect them, like the ones Russell Brand is selling
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
