Yes, but I thought I'd get the lay of the land first. I did not get this old by wandering around rice paddies in the dark. Plus I'm probably a little more direct than most people are used to which takes some time to gauge and moderate if you are going to have polite conversations. But I will not leave you hanging; the article I referenced is in the recent issue of a very popular monthly mechanical publication.

Thank you, I found it! An interview with Michael Levin.
It's WAY outside my field of expertise, but it seems like an exciting topic. Interesting to think that these new ways of thinking can be opened up without resorting to spooky or supernatural stuff.
It says he's publishing a book, so I'll keep an eye out for that.
