Bidets: Brilliant Bathroom Addition or Gay Bung Hole Tickling Agenda?

I don't own one. My sister and brother in law installed one post Covid and I love it. Hope to be a future owner.
Anybody have experience with the wide range of Bidet products, positive or negative?
Is there a cultural barrier to adoption because it's tickling the starfish?
Does the increase in water use out weigh the paper use? I still use a swipe of paper to check the efficacy of the water jet. Until they come with camera's I can Bluetooth to my phone I have no other way of being sure all the nasty be gone.
Would you install a bidet with a camera and app for your phone? Would you trust Apple and the rest of big tech with live video of your starfish?
This issue has hygiene, environmental impact, plumbing and privacy impacts! Everybody poops. This might be my greatest contribution to this site, community and human civilization.
