Certainly, you see similarities within certain families or larger communities.
Working together for the good of the whole was certainly a factor in keeping groups alive. Strength in numbers as well as a comfort level with what is familiar is a reason to behave in like ways.
But in amongst humans at large are those who are not interested in working together and there are those who are prone to be destructive.
It's nothing. Or perhaps secular version of god, conjured when someone isn't interested in providing real answer. Whether one will say "god did it" or "it's a human nature" in response to something is immaterial as both these "answers" have zero explanatory power.
The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.
