Yikes, Russia's beleaguered 155th inf just can't catch a break. They were decapitated, literally and figuratively, in the doomed 40km convoy to kiev. They warcrimed their way through bucha before getting mauled in vulhedar, got abandoned without logistics for supply or retreat by main forces in the se, and ended up being embarrassed in kursk. Prior to the war they were believed to be one of russia's most elite fighting units. They have since been destroyed and reconstituted 8 times. Losing somewhere around 80% of the men who have served in the unit in the war in it's various reincarnations.
This time, they got hit on russian soil, on the pacific coast, where they've been reconstituting, again, in prep for their next deployment as cannon fodder.
Russia has responded by saying nothing happened and also that terrorists did whatever didn't happen.
