Arnold Schwarzenegger is standing by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., praising the former independent presidential candidate as a longtime friend and ally, even if he doesn’t always share his views.
“When I ran as a Republican and Bobby, a Democrat, helped me, I told myself I would always be there for him,” Schwarzenegger said. “Even if I don’t agree with everything, I’ll always support him.”
Kennedy, now running for president as an independent, has drawn criticism for promoting conspiracy theories on vaccines and government agencies.
But Schwarzenegger offered a more personal lens, suggesting Kennedy’s outlook is shaped by deep family trauma.
“Think about it—your uncle gets assassinated, your father gets assassinated, and no one gives you the truth,” Schwarzenegger said.
“Of course you develop this idea that there are things you’re not being told. You see the world through a different lens.”
