Christians are being persecuted by the existence of trans people and symbols that remind people that they exist.

A resident of the London Borough of Camden has threatened to sue the local Borough Council if it does not remove four crosswalks painted in the colors of the transgender flag.
“That’s not right in a truly democratic society,” she said in a statement. “I’m standing up not just for myself, but for everyone who feels silenced or sidelined by discredited harmful activism forced on the public by ideologically captured local authorities.”
Olubanjo is being supported by the Christian Legal Centre, which purports to “safeguard the freedom of Christians to live and speak for Jesus Christ, and to provide legal support for those taking a stand for Jesus and the truth that flows from him.”
In a press release, the organization explains Olubanjo’s beliefs that the crossing infringes on her rights as a Christian and “constitutes unlawful political messaging.”
“The crossing is a visual endorsement of a contested ideology, installed by a public authority in breach of its legal duties. This is not the role of local government. Public spaces should be able to be used by everyone, not to advance divisive agendas that alienate people of faith and those who hold to biological reality.”
The crosswalks were installed in 2021 in honor of Transgender Awareness Week and are situated near the site of the U.K. National Health Service’s (NHS) former Tavistock Clinic for youth Gender Identity Development Services.
