It has been pointed out the Ronald Reagan and Bush Jr. did so, but in college. It only goes to show what a bunch of sexist pigs the football fans can be. Maybe some underground stirrings of homosexuality is setting some of them off?
I used to work for a CPA who lost a bet in college and had to try out for the cheerleading squad. He made it and spent two or three years as a cheerleader...happened to be how he met his wife, who was also a cheerleader. I'd have never guessed his short fireplug built grumpy self had been a cheerleader.
