I think there's something to the idea of using exposure to dislodge an earworm. This morning I had "Lean On Me" running through my head. Sometime later, it was replaced by Babymonster's "Drip," which has some rather inane lyrics and stupid chorus. So once I got up, I refreshed my memory of Girls Generation's Lionheart, and that became the current earworm, with occasional bouts of "We Go Up." If I'm not careful, though, I start thinking about "Drip" again.
