I saw what he went through as a gay man, people telling him that he got AIDS because god sent it as a plague to rid the world of homosexuals. I saw all the discrimination he endured because of his sexual preference, and I know what a wonderful person he was.I had no intentions of rekindling your bad memories.
So, for me, it's very personal.
Really, there is nothing I can do about discrimination. I myself am against discrimination, but I have outlined my limits to this matter.
It is true, I do not share the same wide worldview as most of you do, obviously, but my priorities are not really fixed on this matter as it is the case for political platforms in your country. As much as it is personal for you, it is not really a personal matter for me. If so, you say, why do you hold these views? Well, my views are in accordance with the ways of how our society works, and as decreed by the Turkist creed and views. Homosexuals are really a minor point of focus, and they are rarely discussed where I live, or within the works and words of those I deem as my idols and mentors.
And I think the ones that live here do not wish to be the point of a discussion themselves, so...But I hope I was able to express myself clearly.
