What if the situation is reversed and the father wants her to have an abortion or doesn't want to be a father, but the girl is intent on keeping the baby? I've often wondered how fair it is that he should have to pay child support in that kind of situation. However, if this were the case then all a guy would have to do to get out of paying is to claim he didn't want the child in the first place.
