RE: Do You Think Christians Are Crazy and Delusional Or Just Plain Thick?

I've always found it strange that theists have a blind spot towards their own religion. It's like if you slap their deity's name brand on the idea, its magically justified through divine morality, which is beyond the grasp of mortal intelligence to be able to recognize or comprehend. Yet any other religion can claim the same quote, and they feel fully justified to use their intelligence (previously unable to reach the divine when turned their direction) to cast down someone else's beliefs.
I bet you could take a quote of scripture, and replace God (or equivalent major deity) with "the Great Cthulu" and see how quickly they would argue against their very own text.

"I get angry when believers say that the entire unimaginable hugeness of the universe was made entirely for the human race, and atheists by contrast say that humanity is this infinitesmal eyeblink in the vastness of time and space, and then religious believers accuse atheists of being arrogant."
