Judging by the things you reference, it sounds like you're talking about my post. If so, thank you.
Quote:What do you mean when mentioning Christianity? Christianity has more arguments against it than arguments for. The writers are annoymous and also they have illogical concepts.
Agreed. You and I would share a lot of common ground making fun of the ridiculous concept of the Trinity (see my signature quote below) and the ways the supposed "eye witnesses" contradict each other, etc. I have said that my post should in no way be regarded as support for Christianity. It is bullshit and I often argue against it.
My point was at least Christianity gives me something TO debunk. Were I to decide to heed the words of Jesus, how would I decide what those words were? Shall I go with a church established by those said to have known Jesus? Or shall I go with a religion established by some guy who came along six centuries later who only heard about Jesus from the Christians who supposedly got it all wrong?
Do you see why, as a non believer in both religions, I can see how Christianity, for all its bullshit, at least offers bullshit. Islam offers what we call "jackshit" (nothing at all). In my mind, Bullshit > Jackshit. Clear?
Quote:You then talk about Paul. Thing is Paul was the founder of Christianity. He introduced "no works" and said worship Jesus.
Actually, he said that Jesus is the intercessor with the divine, which is a subtle distinction, especially if you believe the Trinity crap.
Quote:Muhammad claimed Jesus isn't divine because it's supported by the Bible. No where does Jesus claim divinity whatsoever.
Have you read the Gospel of John?
Quote:Also Christians contradict Jesus. Jesus taught them to pray tothe father but they pray to Jesus. Don't blame Muhammad, blame Christians.
The Christians contradict themselves. They pray to Jesus who is the intercessor for God. But Jesus IS God. Except when he's not. But when he is, he's the intercessor for himself. He sacrificed himself to himself to convince himself to forgive us all. He says that "no one comes to Me except through Me". (paraphrased John 14:6)
We can make fun of Christians all day and have common ground. I just believe in one less religion than you do.
