Perhaps if I put it this way: if there really was all this evidence for JC ever having been a real person, I don't think there'd be an atheist in the world who would dismiss it. Contrary to popular belief we're not all in the habit of responding to every argument with "no it isn't" or similar just for the sheer bloody-mindedness of it.
