My mistake, I hereby formally admit that some of my information was likely wrong. Upon searching for more sources, I discovered that the Muslim world population passed the Christian population some time in 2011, according to most censuses. Some claim otherwise, but most state that the Muslim population is now higher.
The study I linked was from 2010, so it is outdated.
