National security, heh, it can be an ambiguous thing though! National Security could mean nothing more than the status quo of a corrupted government, who declares one person who is speaking out against it to be "radical".
Although I do agree with your example. Just saying it could be used as a tool against truth and freedom in a specific circumstance.
