you can put that to the test, imagine your loved one being killed by somone unknown to you, and the murderer escapes convction until his natural death at the age of 90. Are you hoping for a divine help to give you justice or just let it be until you youself die.? And are you at peace with your self ? Only believing in supreme being can make you at ease with yourself
My hopes and/or desires are totally irrelevant and have absolutely no bearing on how the Cosmos actually works in reality.
How can you not see this?
I cannot see it unless you can tell me what happens to the injustice one does to you. Cosmos is just a creation and plays no role in reward and punishment. Cosmos behave the way the are now because of supreme being controls it. The being can make it out of equilibrium at any time.
