You're all brave now, but...
I have always wondered why Satan, widely reputed as the enemy of God, would do God's dirty work in punishing the fallen ones in Hell. It just seems like if Satan tortures the wicked ones in Hell, he is just working for God, like a janitor.
If Satan is the opposite of God, Hell just might be a rewarding place for dedicated sinners. How sure are you he will follow God's rule to make sure we suffer?
If He is truly rebellious, he will NOT punish us atheist unbelievers.
Satan does not punish us. He merely lures us into hell. We are tormented mostly by the lack of anything good in that place. Secondly by the fire. (when I say we I mean people in general.)
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
