Why should an entire corporation suffer for the crimes of a few people in it? People can be easily replaced in a company, but if the entire company is sued and taken down, how many jobs will be lost?

One of the benefits of incorporation is it shields the owner (stock holders) from personal liability for the actions of the business they own. This is accomplished by shifting the legal liability from the stock holders to the corporation. If you want to protect the corporation from liability you need to shift the liability back to the owners again.
