'Evidence' is not a synonym for 'proof'.Evidence is simply anything used to support a position.G the bible is indeed indeed evidence for heaps of stuff.What is NOT is credible evidence or proof,of anything.

PLUS, under American rules of evidence evidence may be excluded for a range of reasons. EG evidence found during a search made without a warrant or 'probable cause'. The 'poisonous fruit 'rule,used I think, in the OJ Simpson trial.Some videos,such as time stamped security footages are routinely admitted. The type of example you cited is not always admitted.
