Why should I have to give the benefit of the doubt for YOUR version of a God?
Do you support me giving the same benefit of the doubt concerning the evidence for Zeus, Thor, Amon-ra, Apollo? The same "evidences" used to "prove" your god exists can be used to "prove" the "existence" of every other god and goddes known to man.
..but what does this mean? It means this evidence is nothing of the sort. If it can be used to prove so many different gods, and even silly shit. Hell, the arguments for God can be used to argue a tea pot in orbit around mars, or a flying spaghetti monster, or an invisible pink unicorn (Science tells us the unicorn is invisible, faith tells us she is pink)
this is NOT the kind of evidence I would expect from an all powerful god. If an all powerful god existed, I think it would be stupidly obvious that he or it existed just like it is stupidly obvious that the sun exists, or that the moon exist. It would not even be a discussion. It would be a given.
How many people do you know of who have to make all of these intricate arguments up to prove the existense of the sun? Wouldnt you think it unnecessary? And if someone tried to argue that the sun really doesnt exist would seem rightly insane. There are no "Asolarists" who dont believe the sun exists.
The fact that atheists exist alone is an argument against the existence of any kind of deity.
Does this make sense to you? To me God should be STUPID obvious. I mean like little kids pointing up and saying "look mommy, theres God." and the mother says "of course honey, now come in and wash your hands."
