No, you don't see my point. I believe all the kinds of animals were created then. The only change would be variety of kinds such as a wolf and many kinds of dogs had a common ancestor. What I was saying is no animal back then is alive today and there are more animals in the wold today then back then. So obviously when he said "every" he did not mean every animal that exists today or even in Moses' time. He meant every kind of animal was made back then. Then he made at least 2 of every kind again for the garden so Adam could name them (no specific number is given).
Surely you jest? There is a smaller selection of "kinds" today than there would have been "back then". What's the big idea, is evolution happening or not? You people can never seem to decide that for yourselves. No specific number is given because the author had no fucking clue, but notice that kangaroos were not mentioned. No idea why that would be.
Seems that Noah had to walk from the middle east to Australia to get the other marsupials though. Kind of weird that a loving god would ask a 600 year old man to do that when he had younger men (like Noah's sons) available. Just more proof that the bible stories are stupid. But those that believe them are stupider and those that defend them (apologists) are stupiderer.
