You can save your face and time. Or you can hope that the continual brushfires of interaction that she lights will ultimately change things for the better, at least for you. Defriend her, Put her in a special "Isolation" Friend Group or do nothing. Those are your most effective options.
I've effectively stopped using Facebook except for the XMPP gateway, so I have the option of staying in chat contact, while Facebook automatically emails me comments and requests. I let Thunderbird block the tracking images in the emails.
