RE: 'Intelligent' design?

I had a brainstorm. There's a reason why proponents of ID overlook the question of 'How can an intelligent designer make its creation so stupid it would not instinctively know or recognise its own creator?' and that's because the answer is undesirable for their cause.
Its pretty much done intentionally and dishonestly to lay the blame with us, and not with the designer, in an attempt to end all further enquiries and justification, because any serious attempt to answer that question puts them on a slippery slope that would ultimately have them arguing that the intelligent designer could have designed it all naturally, i.e. made reality to look like it was not actually created.
Asserting that, would basically spell death for their proposition and end all ambitions to teach their crap in schools.
