Evidently is is, since you want to stop other churches from being able to perform marriages.
You have this idea that somehow your church is more valid and has greater moral weight, which despite your personal convictions, is not true, nor should your personal convictions be used against other institutions.
You not only do you want your church to have a say in law, but to have a say on the religious laws of OTHER CHURCHES. That is arrogance to a stupendous level.
