Would have to go a LONG way before matching the pig ignorant, superstitious,bigoted, and sheer hatefulness of Irish Catholicism.
I also suspect the Babylonians,with their habit of chucking infants alive into a furnace were pretty gross.-----and then of course there were the meso-Americans who liked to cut out people's hearts and offer them, still beating,as a sacrifice to their gods.(often THOUSANDS at a time)
I remain convinced that the excesses of religion reflect the arseholes who practice them rather than the often contradicting doctrines.
