Anto was very agitated due to what he stated he felt was a personal racist attack.
I think that not answering Anto's explorative questioning and refutations leaves the discussion resting in favour of homosexuality = wrong. I have no idea why Anto was banned for a week, I was banned at the same time so couldn't access the shoutbox to see if he said something terrible there. Censorship here, if that's what it was, was counter productive IMO. that is.. Anti homosexuality was silenced without reason.
I read this thread and I was amused and appalled in equal measures. I must admit if there was a personal racist attack on Anto - I missed it, and I'm certainly not condoning that. I also must have missed Anto's alleged "explorative questioning and refutations".
I did however see comments like "I can't respect a fag sucking a dick through a glory hole", as though this somehow represents the concept of homosexuality; also comments about "pandering to the raging queers " is hardly a legitimate contribution to a topic. Someone else made the point (padriag possibly?), that homophobia is as bigoted and narrow-minded as racism - and I'm sure racism wouldn't be tolerated on this forum.
