"Well, I mean, I wouldn't scapegoat anyone, but since it's already done, it's all good, I accept it"
"Well, I mean I wouldn't mug anyone, but since he's already laying dead on the pavement, I guess it;s okay to take his wallet"
Give me a break. How's about this, tell your magic man to reverse time and events, pulls jesus off the cross, and let you deal with your own shit, you know, like a responsible human being who doesn't make excuses? You may think you've found a way to clear this whole business with your conscience, but I can't. Perhaps you should wonder why my atheist's conscience seems so much more strict than your own theist 's conscience? It just might have something to do with accepting responsibility for my actions and refusing to allow others to be the fall man for whatever I get myself involved in (even if they want to, even if they offer to, even if they could). I understand and appreciate that what you attempted to explain with your response was how this whole affair was made "okay", but to me, all you did was paint a picture of christains as vultures, picking at the corpse of christ.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
