You don't think there might not be a sinister motive behind why they haven't replied?
By the way, when I considered killing myself I very nearly came to a forum to ask how. It would have been as much a cry for help as anything: I half-hoped someone would notice and do something about it. A Google search won't tip off people who you're secretly asking for help, and so it fulfills only half the purpose.
In addition, people considering suicide often don't consider themselves important, and therefore they attempt to make light of their question. I, for example, felt that my thoughts of suicide meant that I was mentally "whining" and therefore I used emoticons very often for whatever reason.
That was a while ago, but you see why I don't take these things lightly.
