All jokes aside, ever since the whole thing erupted I've been wondering precisely why so many homosexual pedophiles wound up in the embrace of the Clergy. It's almost as if there were a fucking network of pedos that started chattering about a gold-mine they'd struck (and before we learned that the church had been actively covering this sort of shit up for some time the scenario was much less plausible, to me, personally). The whole thing is just strange to the n'th. On the other hand, there are a lot of priests in the world, we would expect some of them to be a great many things beyond priests (the claims and expectations of priesthood lain aside).
