I was once fascinated by the whole Jesus myth once but now I've turned to just talking about the Bible. I've realized I'm no expert on ancient pagan religions and am in no position to discuss whether or not Christianity was copied or whether it borrowed heavily or was influenced by... etc.
However, I have read the Bible and what it says is right there in front of me. No need to get a doctorate in ancient religions. I can show you how this passage says one thing and that passage says something else.
When I can show how Christians have never told a coherent story, never mind offered any evidence to show any of it is true, there is absolutely no need to prove that the story was copied from elsewhere. The whole damn thing (every single contradictory version) could be original and it makes the story no more worthy of serious consideration.
Now it is true that Christian apologists will still stubbornly try to bury you with a tidal wave of hundreds of ad hoc hypotheses and tie themselves into knots with their obtuse interpretations but at least this way the burden of proof is solidly in their camp and their mental gymnastics only show how shaky their case is.
